Being a proud owner of a (home built) café-racer you have always been a rare bird in a conventional owners club, where emphasis is mainly on authenticity. If you own a bike, which happens not to resemble the model, it was when it left the factory some decades ago it isn’t “original” in the eyes of the typical classic bike fan. Fundamentalists do not appreciate own ideas, unconventional solutions and creative constructions. Precisely for the open-minded biker the ROAD ROCKET CAFÉ-RACER CLUB was founded on May 25, 1998.

Did you fit clip-ons, aluminium rims, rear-sets, a large polyester or aluminium petrol tank, a solo seat, fairing, a GRIMECA front brake or did you fit double discs into a ROADHOLDER front fork? Did you choose for MEGATON exhausts? Do you respect all those names from the sixties, such as: SEELEY, DUNSTALL, METISSE, TRITON, MANX, FEATHERBED and GOLD STAR? Do you still like ROCK & ROLL and do you still cherish the CROMWELL pudding basin and your old leather jacket?
